Ann Mattingly puts her visitor sticker on the Capital Plaza Tower's turkey sticker ball dressed as Santa Thursday afternoon. Front desk receptionist Penny Monroe said that the ball was started 9-years-ago and is solely made of the stickers. When Thanksgiving came around this year, Monroe said they decided to turn it into a turkey. "We thought that's kind of dumb, lets do something interesting, " Monroe said. After Thanksgiving passed, they couldn’t get rid of him, she said, so they added a Santa hat and some garland around the table it sits on. Monroe said they plan to keep the ball as a turkey all year around.
